SMS Program & Consent

USMS Inc. uses this page to describe its text-message program. SMS consent is optional and is collected on the public account-registration form; it is never required to create an account or receive vehicle service.

The following is the complete SMS-consent section displayed after the mobile-number field onaccount registration.

Mobile phone numberI agree to receive recurring automated account and vehicle-service text messages from US Mechanic Services (USMS) at the mobile number. Messages may include security codes, appointment reminders, vehicle check-in and repair-status updates, inspection-report alerts, and invoice or payment notifications. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Read our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

A signed-in account holder may opt in later from Profile.
A customer using a shop's QR check-in page may optionally opt in while checking in their vehicle.
At a shop's front desk or by phone, staff may record consent only after the customer affirmatively agrees to the same disclosure.

Program details

Transactional messages only: security codes, appointment reminders, vehicle-service updates, inspection reports, and invoice or payment notices.
USMS records the consent timestamp, wording version, source, and exact mobile number. Messages are sent only to that number.
Reply STOP to stop messages. Reply START to remove a prior STOP. Reply HELP for support.
